Light Tones in Modern Tuscan Design

When I think of “modern” Tuscan style design, what comes to mind is– lighter furnishings… continued use of natural materials (which are well known in “classic” Tuscan design) like wood and stone.  You will notice that Tuscan design in the modern sense has cleaner lined furniture eloquently placed amongst the natural outdoor elements and materials; whereas traditional Tuscany styles incorporated dark, larger furnishings.
